STAFF REPORT KARACHI: Jaffer Brothers (JBL) has been recognized as the Oracle® Partner Network (OPN) APAC FY10 Accelerate Partner of the Year at Oracle's annual Executive Partner Forum.

According to Zia ul Haque, Director Operations-Jaffer Business Systems, the award reflects JBL’s success in utilizing resources from the Oracle Accelerate program in Pakistan.

With Oracle Accelerate, JBL is able to address needs of the midsize customers in Pakistan rapidly and efficiently, with minimal business disruption to its customers.

Zia said that this solution provides midsize organizations with a robust enterprise resource planning solution, thus enabling them to implement the solution in approximately 3 months, accelerating the customer’s return on investment.

“Our customers truly have reaped the benefits with this improved accelerated approach. We have built their systems utilizing world-class best practices that can radically reduce discovery and configuration time, resulting in faster implementation time,” he said.

It is to be mentioned here that OPN APAC Partner of the Year Awards were presented to partners who were outstanding in using the Oracle products and technology to create value and innovative solutions for customers, and generating new business potential for Oracle.

Bringing innovation and excellence, they provide our mutual customers with proven solutions that can help solve critical business challenges.

The official said that recognizing achievements of individuals as well as companies working in the local IT industry contribute a lot towards promoting the professional skills. He suggested that conferring of awards should continue in future.
